We are a cross-party group of Parliamentarians who have come together to raise awareness of the impact of the sale of sexual services on those involved and to develop proposals for government action to tackle the sex trade. Formed in 2008, we count a wide range of MPs, peers and external organisations among our membership.

In the 2010-2015 Parliament members of the APPG conducted an inquiry into the operation of the current legal settlement on prostitution in England and Wales. The inquiry saw us receive evidence from a variety of stakeholders, and in March 2014 the group published its report – ‘Shifting the Burden’.
